After years of oppression & attacks by the Khartoum regime, the people of Duk Sudan had to walk 75 miles to see a doctor & children were dying of curable diseases. Thanks to supporters, a clinic was built & medical staff have arrived.

With over 3 million orphans in Ethiopia, financial pressure on extended families often leads to children going to work instead of staying in school. Over 1000 orphans have been identified who are at risk of dropping out of school.

This program supports orphans in the greater Parakou region of northern Benin through providing them with school fees, school supplies, uniforms, & follow-up visits, as well as the creation of a study center for weekly tutoring sessions & a nutritious meal.

With over 1 million orphans in Tanzania, many extended families are unable to afford to absorb orphaned children. This program works with families that with support and payment of school fees could raise an orphan that is part of their extended family.

The shortage of wood in Darfur has become so severe that women spend their entire day searching for it, risking rape and other forms of assault during wood collection has. Wood as a fuel source has also had a devastating effect on the local environment and global warming.

In the Volta region of Ghana, only about 1/3 of the thousands of children who have lost one or both parents receive any form of assistance aimed at ensuring sound development of the child.

Since 2003, free primary education has increased the number of students enrolled in primary schools all over Kenya. This translates to a larger enrollment of students in secondary schools with half the population unable to afford secondary education.
Your support increases the number of children completing secondary school.

The increasing number of orphans in Ethiopia has created a condition where extended families are unable to provide even the minimal basic care for orphans. This program run by AHOPE Ethiopia provides food, housing and education within a child development center for HIV+ children.
With your help this program can support more HIV+ children.

In Tanzania 2.5 million children of primary school age are are not in school. School fees, supplies & costs of school uniforms have turned education into an unaffordable luxury for many children. This project keeps children in school through paying for uniforms, food, clothing & shoes.
With your support more children will stay in school.

In the Narok region of Kenya, only 1 out of every 200 HIV+ children are currently receiving Antiretroviral Therapy (ART). This program works with a local agency to increase the number of children in the Narok District receiving this life saving treatment.
