Victory Way
Victory Way was created by its current President after his return from the USA in 1996. In October 2000, with two of his classmates, he created the association AFJB (Appui Juridique aux Femmes Béninoises) a legal information and assistance team for Beninese women. In December 2001, this association had six months of hiatus because two of its members departed for France. Obliged to regroup and observing that the North benefitted much less than the South of the country from development efforts, the President, with his partners and friends, organized a constitutional conference in Parakou in February 2002.
Victory Way's motto is Pour le sourire de la femme et de l'enfant, 'So that women and children can smile.' and its goals are all part of that mission:
- To improve the socioeconomic conditions of women and girls
- To contribute to the support of orphans and at-risk children
- To reduce the incidence of the violation of women's and children's rights.
